Is MESMER a jammer?
No, MESMER is not a jammer.
MESMER and Department 13 set themselves apart from their C-UAS competition by using protocol manipulation, not jamming, to mitigate drones.
Unlike jamming, protocol manipulation does not interfere with any other communication or RF equipment.
What is Protocol Manipulation?
Protocol manipulation is a technique utilized by MESMER to affect a drone in a specific manner. This technique sends a radio signal to a drone that uses a version of the drone's own protocol to provide a predetermined mitigation effect.
Is MESMER use restricted?
MESMER is open for use as a C-UAS detect and identify system worldwide. Check individual country regulations for more information on mitigation restrictions.

a drone to either list. The UI will display this information for each drone.
